Let's talk about your tax base.
Thirty-minute call. No obligation. We'll walk through your trade-area leakage, three retailers we'd target in your first quarter, and whether a TaxBase Advisors engagement fits your city's situation.
Schedule directly
Most-used path. Pick a time on Keith's calendar. The call is conversational — no slide deck, no pressure. Bring whoever from your team should be in the room.

What to bring to the first call
Nothing required. But the conversation goes faster if you have:
- Your population (we already have this, but confirms tier and trade-area assumptions).
- Two or three retailer categories you most want filled (e.g., "discount grocer," "off-price apparel," "specialty health").
- Any specific sites you'd like profiled (former big-box vacancies, redevelopment parcels, underutilized commercial corridors).
- Whoever owns your retail recruitment effort today — economic development director, chamber liaison, planning director.
What to expect
Thirty minutes. We open with five minutes on what we observed about your city's trade area from public data. Then ten minutes on three retailers we'd target if we were running your recruitment, why, and what the path to landing one would look like. The remaining fifteen minutes are your questions.
We don't pitch on the first call. We share what we know, listen to what you're trying to do, and at the end you'll have a clear sense of whether the engagement structure makes sense for your city. If yes, we follow up with a written proposal within seven days.
The first call is the most useful conversation about retail recruitment most mayors have all year — even the ones who don't end up engaging us.
